Skin Cancer Prevention
Early detection remains the best method for preventing skin cancer. Therefore, regardless of the reason for your visit, we recommend a comprehensive skin examination at your initial appointment, particularly for those who have had extensive sun exposure or a family history of skin cancer. This is an opportunity for the doctor to check for suspicious moles and early skin cancers, especially on areas of the body that may be difficult for you to examine yourself.

Coordinated Care
Treatment of dermatologic conditions is specifically tailored for each patient. Treatment often involves the use of topical creams, oral medications, or a combination of both. To enhance effectiveness of these treatments and reduce interactions between medications, we believe in the importance of working in concert with our patients' pediatricians, family practitioners, obstetricians and internists. For this reason, we will be happy to coordinate your care with your referring physician.
